Senior Rp Consultant

The Monet + Associates Agency is looking for a senior RP consultant to join its team in Paris. Two positions are available in two distinct areas within the agency: a beauty & lifestyle area and a food, wines & spirits area.

On a daily basis, the senior consultant manages the relationships with the clients in their portfolio, ensuring the operational deployment of the campaigns. They drive the missions of junior consultants and interns/trainees who work alongside them.

Their missions are under the responsibility of their respective Client Account Director, who works closely with the other Client Account Directors in charge of managing the accounts they are involved with. You will be working with a team of 50 consultants spread across Lyon, Paris, Nantes, and Bordeaux.

YOUR MISSION

Relational and managerial skills

1. Relational skills:

• Build effective and trustful relationships within the agency, with clients, journalists, and partners;
• Create lasting relationships with clients: manage expectations, negotiate, and build trust;
• Build, maintain, and develop a network of journalists (lunches, journalist meetings, editorial office visits, product sends, interview proposals, site visits/showroom etc…);
• Manage, maintain, develop, and negotiate with the agency’s network of partners (partner agencies, service providers, suppliers, experts, and other organizations);
• Ensure transversality with the other BUs/entities of the agency.

2. Managerial skills:

• Manage junior consultants, interns, and trainees of the area: manage workload and support operational tasks, business pedagogy and skill development, sectorial watch … ;
• Delegate effectively and share information with their team as well as with the management;
• Lead project teams in connection with the group’s experts.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

1. Operational skills:

• Manage client files independently and prioritize actions;
• Ensure the quality follow-up of client deliverables;
• Be the guarantor of the use of agency processes and tools;
• Work in collaboration with clients to ensure that expectations are met and objectives are achieved.

2. Strategic skills:

• Be a consultant in the definition of PR strategy and KPIs;
• Stay informed of the news in their sectors of expertise to ensure a good understanding of their clients’ challenges;
• Work with the Client Account Director on strategic recommendations;
• Have a 360° vision of the agency’s offer to enrich PR strategies.

3. Commercial and financial skills

• Understand the strategy of clients, identify new business opportunities, and be a force of proposal;
• Develop the use of agency processes and tools that guarantee the profitability of client projects: accounting follow-up of clients;
• Contribute to the writing and presentation of strategic recommendations in the context of calls for tenders;
• Ensure the presentation of the agency (in FR and EN) to a prospect.

YOUR PROFILE

• You are sensitive to aesthetics to understand the visual codes of the sector;
• You have a sense of creativity, and you feed yourself daily with the trends and news of the sector;
• You are curious, motivated, and committed;
• You have a good sense of relationships;
• You are a graduate of a Bac+3 to Bac+5 in communication, marketing, or journalism;
• You have already had experience in a PR agency or with an advertiser for at least 3 years.
