Position Summary

Reporting to the President, this role serves as a trusted advisor, strategic project driver, and operational liaison, ensuring the President's time is focused on high-value priorities. This role will interact with all layers of the organization ensuring that the vision of the President is carried out throughout the entire corporate structure. The Chief of Staff will bridge the gap between strategic vision and operational execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate staff functions and activities based on the President's initiatives and ensure those activities achieve desired outcomes.
  • Lead and track cross-functional, complex projects and initiatives from conception to completion and reports results to the President.
  • Work with the President to develop agendas for executive leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, and board presentations. Ensure these meetings are outcome-oriented, with clear action items and strict accountability.
  • Assist in the coordination, execution, and documentation of the King Aerospace Board of Advisors meeting. Works with Board of Advisors on matters identified by the President or Chairman.
  • Anticipate and prepare materials required for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, and other matters and inform offsite managers on material to be prepared and delivered.
  • Organizes and gathers information from various departments and meetings, and reports that information, along with recommendations, to the President and executive team.
  • Drive project success by mapping key leaders across complex initiatives, clearly defining who is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI).
  • Identify organizational bottlenecks, misalignments, or communication gaps and resolve them before they escalated to the President.
  • Analyze complex operational and financial data to provide the President with clear, concise decision-making frameworks.
  • Coordinate and work with King Aerospace political partners and lobbyist for strategic meetings and messaging to promote the business.
  • Ensure the President is advised of all professional obligations, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are being met.
  • Work with internal & external sources for branding & marketing support needs and community engagement opportunities.
  • Keep the President abreast of high-level projects and programs, which involves duties on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the company and its staff members.
  • Support Chief People Officer with culture related tasks, working to keep President abreast on company climate.
  • Represent the President at select company events.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities based on business needs and experience.
  • Qualifications

    Education / Experience Requirements
    • Required:

      5 plus years of related experience in a high-growth corporate environment, preferably in the Aviation field.
    • Preferred:
      Bachelor's degree (B.

      A.) in Business or related field from a four-year college or university. Graduate degree a plus.
    • Preferred:
      Quality management, project management certifications including Six Sigma, Lean, or AS9110 experience a plus.
    • Preferred:
      Experience in the military, legal and/or accounting support.
    • Must be able to pass a government security clearance.
    General & Computer Skills
    • Impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills.
    • Software:
      Microsoft Office Suite, internal computer databases.
    • Excellent verbal and written skills.
    • Extremely organized.
    • Acts responsibly, takes ownership of work & work product.
    • Formatting, branding, proofreading, etc.
    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment.

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit and talk or hear, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires occasional travel.
