Heads Up Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. The Assembler will play a critical role in the assembly of high-quality lighting products. - Work Days and
Hours:
7:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday‑Friday with an unpaid 30‑minute lunch. Employees can work with their supervisor to have flexibility in their schedule. - Location: Addon, TX – full‑time onsite position.
- Compensation: Based on qualifications and a comprehensive benefits package.
- Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Perform precise soldering of electronic components, including LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and other related components onto PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) to assemble LED lighting products.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, technical drawings, and diagrams to ensure accurate placement of components.
- Inspect and test soldered connections to verify the quality and integrity of each connection, making necessary adjustments or corrections as needed.
- Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to troubleshoot and resolve assembly‑related issues that may arise during the production process.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any relevant production data.
- Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in assembling electronic components, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Familiarity with various soldering techniques, such as through‑hole and surface‑mount soldering.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality.
- Proficient in using soldering equipment, tools, and related instruments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot soldering‑related issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Technical or vocational training in electronics or soldering techniques is a plus.
