OverviewHeads Up Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. The position involves precision soldering, assembly, testing, and inspection of high-quality lighting products.
Work Hours and Eligibility- Workdays and
Hours:
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday with an unpaid 30‑minute lunch. - Work Eligibility:
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Perform precise soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Follow assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and diagrams for accurate component placement and product assembly.
- Inspect and test soldered connections to verify quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
- Operate assembly equipment and tools safely and efficiently while maintaining equipment readiness.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, material usage documentation, and quality data.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience assembling electronic components in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with through‑hole and surface‑mount soldering techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
- Proficiency using soldering tools, equipment, and inspection instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
- Technical or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or soldering techniques.
- Experience working in aerospace, aviation, electronics, or high‑reliability manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards.
- Experience performing visual inspections and functional testing of electronic assemblies.
- Additional technical or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or soldering techniques.
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, electronics, or high‑reliability manufacturing environments.
