YourImpact at Chanel
Within the Other Accessories department, specifically in the Technical Coordination and Quality team:
Project:
- Update the quality documentation and control tools for the different product categories of the Other Textile Accessories line.
- Write the Technical Specifications for Other Textile Accessories.
- Lead the deployment of existing quality documentation (Operating Procedures, Defect Library…) in collaboration with the different quality references.
- Be a key player in the support of the proper handling of these documents by our GDC (Logistics Center) + Manufacturer.
- Maintain and update all quality documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects / cross-functional projects (new control tools, KPIs…)
Operational:
You will participate in the monitoring of the industrialization of articles according to the expected quality criteria in order to initiate the GO production:
Collection:
- Participate in risk analyses – risk identification, initiation of tests (laboratories, wear tests, regulatory subjects…).
- Follow up on different industrialization topics following risk analyses.
- Update data on PLM: witness requests, article sheets…
- Update nomenclatures – work in tandem with our development team.
- Work in collaboration with our regulatory and traceability team to secure the different risks related to the House’s requirements.
Production/Industrialization:
- Control the witnesses and the results of laboratory tests before sending them to our GDC (Global Distribution Center) & manage the actions to be taken in case of detected non-conformity.
- Update the data in PLM, throughout the industrialization/production phase with the manufacturer.
- Share technical information, tolerances with the different quality actors (GDC + manufacturers).
- Through this control, adapt if necessary the control tools and quality documentation.
Post Delivery:
- Lead incidents following deliveries, with methodology.
- Implement problem-solving tools: root cause research, definitions of palliative/curative actions and follow-up & capitalization of action plans.
- Participate in the deployment of good practices to reduce return rates GDC, Market (store stock & customer).
- Be the point of reference for different market requests & after-sales service.
- Ensure the implementation/maintenance of KPIs.
- Contribute to the improvement of quality performance indicators of manufacturers (PROJECT).
What You Will Bring:
- Education level of BAC+4 to BAC+5, with initial experience in a Quality department.
- Your sensitivity for the "world" of Quality and a strong interest in the product.
- Your rigor, your organizational and anticipation skills, and your relational qualities.
- Your mastery of IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- You speak and write fluently in English and French, Italian would be a plus.
