Overview
Looking to hire for the Business Development position - set appointments for outside sales reps (Sr Consultants), close smaller deals. Build a pipeline of potential customers and track in Salesforce. This position can be very profitable for someone willing to invest the 2-3 year ramp up, but pays a solid base ($40k-52k DOE) and offers various incentives for quicker earnings over and above the base.
Two solid weeks of training provided initially, and a framework for making calls (ie, not a memorized script). Generally calling on Controllers, CFOs, etc., those who would be most interested in the service and understand the impact of reduced energy contracts.
- Set appointments for outside sales reps (Sr Consultants) and close smaller deals.
- Build a pipeline of potential customers and track in Salesforce.
- Make 65 or more outbound calls daily from qualified leads provided by research staff.
- Secure qualified appointments for the senior consultants.
- Learn and relay our value proposition and consistently book a minimum of 3 qualified appointments each week.
- Track activities in Salesforce.
Base salary $40k-52k DOE; incentives for quicker earnings over and above the base. Two solid weeks of training provided initially.
