Post-Doctoral Position in Cerebral Codes and Circuits Connectivity (C4)
A 24-month post-doctoral position is available in the "Cerebral Codes and Circuits Connectivity (C4)" group.
The objective is to study learning and memory processes in mice using technologies such as optogenetics, fibrophotometry, and in vivo calcium imaging.
Candidate ProfileKnowledge and Skills Required: The candidate should be familiar with technologies such as optogenetics, fibrophotometry, and in vivo calcium imaging in mice, as well as behavioral approaches in rodents.
A solid knowledge in neuroscience, particularly sensory systems (including the olfactory system), is required.
Practical experience in surgeries on mice, including viral injections and optogenetic approaches, is highly desirable.
The candidate should also be proficient in techniques such as immunohistochemistry, confocal imaging, and generally imaging approaches.
Skills in data analysis, including the use of tools like Deep Lab Cut , are expected.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate autonomy, rigor, critical thinking, and a strong ability to solve problems, while being capable of working in a team in an interdisciplinary environment.
Required Education: The candidate must hold a doctorate.
