Inspections Electrician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be a current, valid, licensed Journeyman Electrician.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time to job sites.
• Meet with city and other inspectors at job sites for any and all inspections.
• Must be able to communicate at a high level with city inspectors.
• Must understand solar systems wiring schematics and be able to correct as necessary.
• Must be capable of all electrician service and troubleshooting.
• Be a customer service point of contact internally for escalation to resolve inspection issues.
• Ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and employees
• Represents organization in voicing out feedback, concerns and issues, and creates an on-going dialogue with executive management to strive for improvements where necessary.
• Ability to recognize and accurately describe electrical quality issues, as well as implement solutions
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
• Skilled in time management and multi-tasking with competing priorities
• Works closely with project management and accounting
• Self-directed learner, and a true problem-solver coupled with solutions orientation
• Service mindedness with responsiveness and proactive communication
• A person who works diligently and is detail oriented.
• Must be available to work all necessary hours to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Firm grasp of the National Electrical Code
• Must have current valid Journeyman Electrician License
• Must have current valid Driver License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Read, speak, write English fluently, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Has a level of integrity/code of ethics/internal controls
• Characterization as organized, structured and standardization in processes
• Desire to drive for continuous improvement and has a process mindset
• Proficiently operate computers and perform basic tasks including but not limited to:
  Google Suites, MSOffice, etc.
• Ability to learn position specific software packages.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in electrical experience
• OSHA 10
