Pay Rate: Starting at $28/hr

Position Summary: Anistar Technologies is seeking a Security Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems. The candidate will lead teams or a crew in the installation and implements and/or performs service for new equipment installation, equipment, or system repairs. The position supports the security solutions business by installing and troubleshooting newly installed electronic security encompassing intrusion detection, access control, and closed‑circuit television equipment and devices.

• Perform service/installation of various security management solutions including access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, and other security related systems. Must be able to install, configure, and test equipment and devices until final product is complete.
• Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, re‑configure, and test equipment and devices and repair as necessary.
• Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality and usability.
• Perform computer program entry to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems.
• Coordinate with administration and other trades for efficient project/work order completion.
• Read and understand drawings and prints to install correct equipment in correct locations.
• Terminate equipment and field devices while verifying operation in the field and reporting systems.
• Lead team and delegate tasks, demonstrating proper techniques.
• Be willing to do what is required to complete the task on any given day.

• Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
• Good communication skills and ability to think on feet in a fast‑paced, technically demanding environment.
• Experience with IP‑based systems.
• Reliable transportation to travel through the metroplex.
• Working knowledge of Software House, Open Option, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, Salient, and Lenel is a plus.
• Nurse call, intercom, and commercial sound experience is a plus.
