Malin is seeking a skilled Dock & Door Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our customers’ facilities operate safely and efficiently. The technician will perform on-site inspections, repairs, removals, and installations of dock levelers, vehicle restraints, industrial doors, and related equipment.

• Conduct service calls at customer locations to inspect, diagnose, and repair dock and door equipment.
• Install new dock levelers, industrial doors, locks, and safety equipment according to manufacturer specifications and Malin standards.
• Accurately document all work performed on service orders and service summaries.
• Assist in preparing and presenting service proposals to customers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and deliver world-class customer service.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence.

• Prior experience in dock & door service or industrial equipment repair preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and follow all company and customer safety guidelines.

• Work is performed in noisy shop environments and at customer sites, including warehouses and outdoor settings in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform tasks involving stooping, squatting, pulling, climbing, and working in awkward positions.
• May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, heights, and varying temperatures.
• Must follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
