In the context of our hardware product development, we are constantly looking for embedded software engineers to support project teams in product design. At Kickmaker, skills in C, embedded Linux, Yocto are highly valued.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining project needs based on the client
• Designing and developing the firmware/software part
• Unit testing, functional testing & documentation
• Continuous integration and deployment
• Iterative sprint cycle with consideration of client feedback
• Ensuring the quality of established processes and compliance with current HSE standards
• Participating in defining eco-design and industrial relocalization approaches
• Participating / setting up / conducting product lifecycle analyses to improve the CSR impacts of products
• Implementing eco-design analysis guidelines in product developments

Profile sought:

Graduated from an engineering school or a master's degree in embedded computing

Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded firmware development:

C, C++ microcontroller development on STM
32, ESP
32, Nordic...

Embedded Linux development (Qt, Yocto...)

Development of test tools (python, C#, java...)

Knowledge or familiarity with various technologies, such as:

Field buses: CAN, RS-232, RS-485

Wireless communication: BLE LoRa, LTE

Interaction with sensors: UART, I2C, SPI

Knowledge of electronics (reading schematics, oscilloscope, logic analyzer...)

Good knowledge of motor control and servo algorithms is a plus

English is a must
