Our service division is a customer‑facing function in a demanding industry. The successful candidate will manage a regional team of installation and service technicians, supporting a diverse portfolio of restaurants, hotels, educational establishments, hospitals, government buildings and offices.
Responsibilities- Take ownership and responsibility for the delivery of agreed goals and targets.
- Provide constructive and positive feedback to team members.
- Encourage individuals, offer input and suggestions for problem resolution, and address interpersonal issues quickly and directly.
- Carry out assessments of field service technicians covering technical ability, customer engagement and commercial competencies.
- Establish and maintain an effective debriefing process on a frequent basis to ensure goals and targets are met.
- Deliver constructive feedback via 1:1 meetings and group briefings.
- Ensure team members receive appropriate training, coaching, personal development and performance management.
- Contribute to grading evaluations and development planning.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of agreed goals and measurable targets.
- Proven 3–4 years of field service experience as a service technician.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience leading a team of field service technicians.
- Experience managing and coaching a team of field service technicians, with knowledge of single and three‑phase equipment; an electrical qualification is essential.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and computer skills.
- Ability to learn new applications and cross‑train others.
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
- Direct experience in the warewash and/or catering industry is desirable.
- Management qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Build a strongly motivated team with clear goals, targets and personal objectives.

- Manage performance, recognise commitment and support continuous improvement.
- Consider resource requirements for the region – factoring in the skill base and experience of field service technicians and customer needs.
- Evaluate geography and travel times impacting service delivery and effectiveness.
- Ensure technicians have the correct information, resources, tools, training and coaching to complete all jobs to required standard.
