Job Description
Fred Anderson Automotive Group is looking for experienced automotive technicians to join our expanding family of service providers. We are a family‑owned business with over sixty‑five years of history, servicing world‑class manufacturers such as Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, Kia, Honda, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Acura, Hyundai, and Genesis. The role involves performing factory‑scheduled maintenance, following manufacturer repair and diagnostic procedures, testing vehicles to identify issues, and communicating repair needs to service advisors.

- Proficiency in factory‑scheduled maintenance and adherence to all manufacturer repair and diagnostic procedures
- Ability to test drive vehicles and identify potential concerns or issues
- Strong communication skills with service advisors regarding repairs and additional needs
- Professional, knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicles
- Team‑player attitude working with service department professionals
- Commitment to ongoing training and advancement in vehicle knowledge
- Up‑to‑date product and vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Effective organizational and communication abilities
- Focus on providing the best service experience for every customer
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2–3 years of prior technician experience
- Ability to conduct repair orders and mechanical work on vehicles
- Skill in diagnosing and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- One or more ASE certifications
- Consistent delivery of quality work with a focus on right‑first‑time results
- Leadership qualities: ability to answer vehicle, dealership, and service questions
- Drive toward Master Technician certification if not already achieved
