Role Overview: As a CAD Designer at Apogee Signs, you will be integral to our design process, transforming initial concepts into precise and clear technical drawings and plans. Your expertise will ensure that our signs are not only visually striking but also perfectly crafted to meet all specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and detail sign designs using CAD software, ensuring all technical drawings are precise and ready for production.
• Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to understand and fulfill client requirements.
• Select appropriate materials and methods for each project to ensure durability and cost-effectiveness.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of design files and specifications.
• Coordinate with fabricators and installers to troubleshoot any potential design issues during production and installation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Technician or Detailer, preferably in the sign industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Illustrator, or similar programs.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
