Position: (USA) Asset Protection Operations Coach

Position Summary What you’ll do

Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, optimal inventory levels, cleanliness of the area, and assessment of economic trends and community needs. Oversees stocking and rotation of merchandise, sets up and cleans product displays, and secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tours stores and provides feedback, communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizes technology business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction, introduces and leads company change efforts, and provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.

Models exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and executing community outreach programs. Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved and develops strategies for continuous process improvement.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring. Assigns duties, sets clear expectations, provides associate recognition, and consistently communicates expectations to build awareness and recruit qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth.

Controls unexplained merchandise loss and improves profitability by identifying and communicating performance goals, building accountability for policies, measuring adherence to loss‑prevention procedures, reviewing inventory variances, conducting operational and pre‑inventory reviews, and monitoring deficiency trends. Identifies improvement opportunities and advises managers and associates on corrective actions.

Detects, deters, investigates, and resolves violations of company policies and criminal activities, investigates alleged fraud, and gathers evidence to provide case reports and court‑room testimony. Partners with investigative entities to maintain corporate integrity.

Monitors safety and risk controls by ensuring an effective safety program, supervising safety team members, identifying accident trends, developing and implementing solutions, providing accident‑prevention training, and conducting safety reviews to improve the workplace.

Manages facility‑level training, asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures, reviews policies, identifies gaps, determines training needs, and delivers training sessions across multiple stores.

Manages claims and receiving operations, ensuring proper controls and timely processing of damaged, defective, or liquidated items, and supervising suppliers and third‑party deliveries; maintains necessary documentation and reporting.

Coordinates and completes job‑related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, communicating goals, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning.

Ensures compliance with company policies, supports company mission, values, and ethics, implements action plans, supports the Open Door Policy, and guides application of business processes.
