Loop Neighborhood Market is based in Union City, California, and operates gas stations with convenience stores and car washes across the state. Founded in 1978, the company also manages a wholesale division that delivers fuel to dealer locations.

We seek hardworking, customer‑focused individuals at all levels—including entry level—who enjoy interacting with customers and contributing to the success of our stores. Available full‑time and part‑time positions cover all three shifts, offering flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle. Team members are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the station during their shift, contributing to store profitability, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Manage the cash register throughout the shift, ensuring balances and quick, accurate customer assistance.
• Stock products on shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance.
• Deliver prompt, courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer‑friendly environment in the store and surrounding property.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car‑wash related issues as needed.
• Prepare shift reports at the end of each shift per company guidelines.
• Cross‑sell and upsell store products to increase sales.
• Escalate high‑priority issues to the immediate manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Flexible schedule availability.
• Verbal and written communication skills with management.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Basic math skills for accurate change handling.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol sales as required by law.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and respond to emergencies per company policies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varying temperature environments (coolers, outdoor, station).

• 6‑12 months of service: 0.10¢ off a gallon of fuel.
• 3‑5 years of service: 0.30¢ off a gallon of fuel.
• 5+ years of service: 0.40¢ off a gallon of fuel.
• Maximum: 20 gallons and 2 fill‑ups per week.

• Minimum age 18 for 1st and 2nd shift.
• Minimum age 21 for 3rd shift.

• The company reserves the right to run background checks as a condition of employment.

$17.55 – $19.00 per hour
