The GEO Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric to evaluate inmates, detainees, or residents with signs of behavioral health disorders and to supervise nursing staff providing mental health services on-site. This is an independent contractor role (1099) with Forty hours per week, paid at a fixed hourly rate.
Responsibilities include psychiatric medication management, coordination with a multidisciplinary team, and referral to psychotherapy or inpatient care when needed.
