School Counselor

Summary of the Role:

Provides counseling and guidance to support students' academic, personal, social, and career development, including educational planning, dual enrollment, and post-secondary transitions. Collaborates with students, families, schools, colleges, and support services to promote student success and college and career readiness.

Education and/or Experience

Required:

• M.A. degree in school counseling
• Three years experience in secondary counseling

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate counseling endorsement OR Valid Michigan School Counselor license

Terms of Employment 225 days Grade = Salaried G

$69,300 - $90,090 (New Hire Range - Salary based on 260 Work Days)
