Position Detail

Approaching $940 million in assets, TLC Community Credit Union, located in Adrian, Michigan is currently recruiting for a Vice President of Accounting. Reporting directly to the SVP of Finance, the VP of Accounting will oversee the accounting functions of the credit union to include the generation of financial statements, managing the general ledger, month‑end closing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Additionally, this individual will be charged with streamlining and overhauling processes, evaluating and modifying written procedures, and coaching and mentoring the staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be very detailed oriented. The credit union is seeking someone with five plus years of experience overseeing accounting operations, proven leadership skills, and a strong foundation with GAAP.
