Springcreek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - Position Summary

Springcreek is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead environmental services operations within a skilled nursing facility setting. This role is responsible for supervising housekeeping & laundry staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare cleanliness and infection control standards, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, patients, staff, and visitors.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and support housekeeping & laundry staff to ensure consistent performance and accountability

  • Ensure all areas of the facility meet healthcare cleanliness, sanitation, and infection prevention standards

  • Conduct routine inspections and audits; address deficiencies promptly

  • Develop and manage staff schedules and assignments

  • Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

  • Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and leadership teams to support facility operations

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and safety standards

  • Participate in staff coaching, evaluations, and corrective action as needed

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a healthcare environment (hospital, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or similar)

  • Knowledge of infection control practices and healthcare sanitation standards

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet operational needs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities

  • Familiarity with regulatory surveys and inspections
