Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority (LCMHA), in Adrian, Michigan has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Training Coordinator tasked with overseeing clinical trainings and workforce development with a specific focus on Person Centered Planning and Individual Plans of Service. Candidates with prior experience with a Community Mental Health agency or similar publicly funded agency; prior training experience with Medicaid, MDHHS, TJC standards, and other regulatory requirements, are encouraged to apply!

The starting annual salary is $58,812. The annualized salary range for this position is $58,812 to $76,011 per year (based on a 37-1/2 hour work week); the range is based on the number of years of service with the agency.

LCMHA is also a participating / qualifying site for several student debt relief options including the HRSA Loan Repayment Program & MDHHS Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program (Please note that employee eligibility is determined by these programs, and not by LCMHA).

A Day in the Life (of a Clinical Training Coordinator):

As a Clinical Training Coordinator, each day offers the opportunity to make a big impact overseeing clinical training and workforce development with a specific focus on Person-Centered Planning and Individual Plans of Service. The candidate will:

  • Coordinate and provide clinical training and workforce development focused on Person-Centered Planning, Individual Plans of Service (IPOS), regulatory requirements, and agency practices.
  • Develop and maintain clear, effective training materials and programs reflecting applicable LCMHA policies, the Medicaid Provider Manual, MDHHS requirements, The Joint Commission standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance and compliance support to employees, including chart auditing and guidance to promote consistent application of training and regulatory requirements across the agency.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to coordinate required training, credentialing, documentation, and compliance activities while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in human service field, BSW preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience with a Community Mental Health agency or similar publicly funded agency, preferably within a training role.
  • Experience with learning management platforms, preferred.
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.

The benefits package includes:

Employees receive a generous paid leave benefit, and paid leave begins to accrue on an employee's first day of employment; an employee would receive about 24-1/2 paid days off in the first year. The number of paid leave hours an employee accrues is based on length of service; the paid leave time accruing increases after one year, five years, and ten years of employment.

Employees receive scheduled annual salary increases, starting after one year of employment.

Paid Holidays -- LCMHA observes 15 paid holidays per year; employees are eligible for paid holidays as of the first day of employment.
