Maintenance Technician

Full‑Time Hourly

Director of Facilities, Facilities Maintenance Manager (FMM)

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ‑centered education, spiritual development, and social services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.

Looking for a team member who loves the Lord and is actively working on their relationship with God. This position is responsible for: performing preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, and repairs for all the building equipment. Potential on call for nights, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.

• Candidate must have mechanical ability and good troubleshooting skills.
• Must have a willingness to be trained in areas they may not have full knowledge of.
• Maintains safe working conditions and practices.
• Log chiller operations and report problems.
• Maintain and repair air handlers, unit heaters and other HVAC support equipment.
• Make electrical repairs on lighting, motors, and small equipment.
• Repair and maintain health club equipment.
• Repair and maintain food service equipment.
• Perform plumbing repair and maintenance.
• Maintain and repair swimming pool support equipment to include water testing.
• Call in contractors for repairs that are outside our training and abilities.
• Keep track of work through web‑based maintenance program.
• Must be able to read technical manuals to help solve repair problems.
• Must be able to work with little supervision.
• Carries out other assigned duties as directed by the Director of Facilities and (FMM).

• Should have at least 3‑years of experience or training or working knowledge in the following areas:

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• General carpentry
• Commonly used power tools

• Additional requirements needed:
• Good mechanical ability
• Good troubleshooting skills, need to be able to carry 50 pounds on a regular basis.
