Position Summary:

Responsible for performing custodial tasks to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well‑maintained. This position requires working the evening shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

• Maintain safe working conditions and practices.
• Know or learn the proper use of all chemicals used.
• Maintain vacuum cleaner, cleaning cart and other cleaning equipment in good order.
• Follow all cleaning schedules as posted.
• Check and refill paper products in assigned areas.
• Clean windows in assigned areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, dust mop or wet mop floors in assigned areas.
• Remove trash from assigned areas.
• Dust all assigned areas at least weekly or more if needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including mirrors.
• Power wash showers and disinfect locker rooms.
• Routinely power wash restrooms in assigned area.
• Use riding floor scrubber if assigned area has tile floors.
• Complete all assigned areas before leaving the shift for the day.
• Time management is of high importance.
• Perform summer deep cleaning, including refinishing floors, carpet cleaning, and top‑to‑bottom cleaning.
• Familiarize yourself with MSDS sheets that pertain to the chemicals we use.
• Other duties as directed by the Custodian Manager.

• Christian Faith: profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
• Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.
• Experience or training in mopping, floor refinishing, carpet cleaning, power washing, and knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to carry 20 pounds on a regular basis.
