Benefits Team LeaderKapnick Insurance Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Benefits Team Leader to guide and develop our employee benefits team, including Account Managers, Benefit Advisors, and Quality Assurance staff. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence our client service excellence while maintaining a book of business. Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills, performance, and professional growth
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and carriers to resolve issues and identify solutions
- Assess workloads and staffing needs, and assign clients and tasks accordingly to optimize team efficiency
- Develop, review, and update workflows, procedures, and deliverables to improve operational effectiveness
- Problem solve and articulate potential solutions to team members, internal staff, upper management, clients, and carriers
- Monitor team performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Foster a positive team environment that aligns with company values and promotes professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in employee benefits, account management, or a similar leadership role
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Technology forward mindset
- Experience with Applied EPIC
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to assess workloads and allocate resources effectively
- Knowledge of benefits administration, insurance policies, and industry regulations
- Proficiency in relevant software and workflow management tools
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to service excellence

RequirementsTo be considered for the Team Leader, Account Manager position, you should have:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree:
Required - 2+ years of experience in the Employee Benefits Industry: Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Life and Health License:
Preferred
