Associate Branch Manager

McGowan Electrical Supply Inc. is searching for a results-oriented and effective Associate Branch Manager to oversee all aspects of our satellite electrical wholesale branch operation in Adrian Michigan.

The Associate Branch Manager’s responsibilities include managing resources and staff, supporting day-to-day sales and operational goals, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring that the branch operates in compliance with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of managing a business environment and a willingness to learn the electrical wholesale market.

• Direct all operational aspects of the branch including sales, operations, customer service, personnel and administration.
• Assess and adapt to local market conditions,
• Identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
• Meet goals and metrics.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
• Stay abreast of competition in market and provide regular updates on market movement and penetration.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.

• Management experience in peripheral markets (Retail, Industrial) markets is a plus.
• Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
• Ability to drive sales and meet operational expectations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Results driven, customer and people focused.
• Leadership and management skills.
• College degree preferred but flexible pending candidates experience.
