Refrigeration Equipment Assembler​/Technician

Located in Adrian, MI
Shift: 7am-3:30pm potential for overtime.

Pay: $18.50/hr.,

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, quality-driven Refrigeration Equipment Assembler / Technician to help build commercial and industrial freezer equipment. This hands-on position includes mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, installation of refrigeration components, and brazing

• Assemble freezer cabinets and refrigeration systems from drawings and written work instructions.
• Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, controls, doors, hardware, and other components.
• Perform basic electrical assembly, including mounting components, routing wires, and making connections according to drawings.
• Cut, fit, and braze copper refrigeration tubing; training will be provided as needed.
• Measure, drill, fasten, and fit components using common hand and power tools.
• Inspect completed work for proper fit, operation, and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with other shop and production activities as needed.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, blueprints, and written instructions.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
• Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, or brazing experience is a plus, but not required.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused work ethic.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required for occasional local pickups using company vehicles.
• HSD/ GED required
