Join a 5-star rated hospice team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. Hospice of Lenawee is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time after-hours (nights & weekends) position supporting patients and families in their homes.
This role is ideal for a nurse who values autonomy, meaningful connections, and providing comfort during the end-of-life journey.

- Nights and weekends
- After-hours/on-call responsibilities required
- Field-based role providing care in patient homes throughout Lenawee County and surrounding areas (35-mile service area)
- Travel required (mileage reimbursed)
- Must be able to depart from current location within 15 minutes of receiving a notification of patient need. If unable, contacts Supervisor on Call, as appropriate.
- Provide skilled, compassionate hospice nursing care in patient homes
- Manage pain and symptoms to ensure patient comfort
- Educate and support patients and families during end-of-life care
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Perform hospice admissions as needed
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, spiritual advisors, and care teams
- Support Hospice Home staff when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel and respond promptly to patient needs
- Working cell phone
- Hospice, home health, or oncology nursing experience
- Experience with end-of-life care
- BSN degree
