Job Description:
This ICU Registered Nurse contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing adult ICU patients, including those with complex conditions such as DKA, Covid, acute alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, respiratory distress, and CHF exacerbation. The role requires precise medication administration using systems like Pyxis and EPIC, with an emphasis on interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, as well as titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.
Shifts are 12 hours overnight, including every other weekend coverage, providing a steady rhythm for work and rest. The assignment is perfect for experienced ICU nurses ready to make a difference in a high-acuity setting while honing critical skills in cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
