Registered Nurse IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality patient care within a mixed unit setting, including PCU, Med Surg/Tele, and float assignments, adhering to clinical standards and protocols. Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety during shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, telemetry, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately within the Epic system.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, including ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications.
• Float to additional units or facilities as needed to meet staffing demands.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid MI license in hand with pending or active certification.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent acute care experience, preferably in IMC/PCU/Stepdown.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting and telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications.
• Be able to work night shifts (4x12 hours) with every other weekend availability.
• Meet travel compliance requirements, including SSN, DOB, and AHA certifications.
