Field Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally and build strong, trusting client relationships.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach craft personnel in accordance with company policies, procedures, and project requirements.
• Direct daily work activities of assigned crews to meet production goals and schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment on-site to ensure efficient workflow.
• Review production schedules and adjust daily tasks to maintain project timelines.
• Request and manage materials required for assigned scopes of work.
• Read, interpret, and apply plans and specifications; verify work meets project requirements.
• Maintain a high level of safety and ensure compliance with all company and jobsite safety policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of local union rules and/or prevailing wage requirements.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of five years of experience as a foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
• Advanced knowledge of concrete paving, tools, and equipment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
