Pre Construction Manager – St. Louis Construction

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year

• Lead and manage the pre‑construction process, including proposals, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and value analysis.
• Conduct research on building systems, materials, costs, and building codes.
• Distribute bid packages, review and evaluate bids from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Perform quantity surveys and material takeoffs for assigned scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, subcontractors, and engineers.
• Provide design assistance and cost data to clients, design professionals, and project teams.
• Develop scopes of work for sub‑trades prior to and during bid solicitation.
• Prepare preliminary project schedules and assist with the transition to the construction phase.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and pre‑construction management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 10‑hour Certification and First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.
