LPN - Home Care Services

Overview

Find your calling at Mercy! Responsible for providing skilled nursing services to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Must assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients' needs and care.

• Home Care LPN
• 40 hours per week – Days (day shift only, no weekends)

• Sign On Bonus: $2,000 for experienced LPNs

• Manages a caseload of patients experiencing a wide range of health conditions.
• Provides pertinent patient education, treatment, and emotional support to help individuals recover from injuries and illnesses and/or manage chronic disease processes.
• Demonstrates excellent assessment skills and is technically proficient.
• Anticipates and responds to changes in clinical status of patients.
• Communicates with doctors and other healthcare professionals concerning home health patients in a consistent and professional manner.
• Documents medication and plan of care changes with concise and accurate information.

• Full Time (40 hrs. per week), Day Shift (No weekends)
• Gas Mileage Offered – $0.70 per mile (subject to change per Federal Reimbursement Rate)
• Scholar Loan Program – $10,000 to return for RN

• Experience: Prefer one year experience in a related field.
• Education: Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Missouri and must be a licensed driver.
• Certifications: BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association is required.
