Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Grant's Farm Warehouse which include receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of products and supplies. This position supervises warehouse associates, ensures operational efficiency, maintains safety and compliance standards, and coordinates product deliveries to support all departments throughout the property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse operations and activities.
  • Oversee daily workflow and staff assignments through effective scheduling while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure the timely receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of food products, supplies, merchandise, and operational materials.
  • Coordinate deliveries and distribution of products to departments throughout Grant's Farm.
  • Manage the storage, organization, inventory, and delivery of event and activation materials as needed.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency are always maintained.
  • Verify that all equipment necessary for daily operations is available, maintained, and functioning properly.
Inventory Management
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record inventory deliveries.
  • Ensure products are stored properly and inventory rotation practices are followed using FIFO (First In, First Out) standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct monthly physical inventories of food products, supplies, merchandise, and other warehouse stock.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and work proactively to resolve issues.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding warehouse associates.
  • Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth, development, and operational excellence.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback to warehouse team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address employee performance concerns as appropriate.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment operation, vehicle operation, and material handling procedures.
  • Develop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all associates operate equipment and machinery safely and appropriately.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) for Grant's Farm as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Culinary Operations and/or General Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • One year of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Proficiency with computers and common software applications.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and departments at all levels of the organization.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other inclement weather.
