Job Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide support in the registration, control, and analysis of the company's accounting operations, ensuring the correct documentation and compliance with current fiscal and accounting regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
Your main mission will be:
- Registering accounting operations in the system (income, expenses, purchases, sales, etc.)
- Reconciling bank and auxiliary accounts
- Preparing preliminary financial statements
- Keeping the accounting and documentation file updated
- Supporting in monthly closing processes and audits
- Preparing accounting and financial reports for review
- Supporting in tax management and fiscal declarations
- Coordinating with other areas for the collection of accounting information
- Complying with internal procedures and accounting policies
- Ability to manage fixed assets
- Experience in general accounting
- Knowledge of taxes in Guatemala
- Ability to use SAT platforms
Requirements for the role:
- Graduate of Accounting Technician
- Desirable university student in Accounting, Administration, or related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in administrative and accounting functions
- Registered as an Accountant in SAT
- Knowledge of accounting systems
- Basic knowledge of tax legislation and general accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and office tools
