Job Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Provide support in the registration, control, and analysis of the company's accounting operations, ensuring the correct documentation and compliance with current fiscal and accounting regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

Your main mission will be:

• Registering accounting operations in the system (income, expenses, purchases, sales, etc.)
• Reconciling bank and auxiliary accounts
• Preparing preliminary financial statements
• Keeping the accounting and documentation file updated
• Supporting in monthly closing processes and audits
• Preparing accounting and financial reports for review
• Supporting in tax management and fiscal declarations
• Coordinating with other areas for the collection of accounting information
• Complying with internal procedures and accounting policies
• Ability to manage fixed assets
• Experience in general accounting
• Knowledge of taxes in Guatemala
• Ability to use SAT platforms

Requirements for the role:

• Graduate of Accounting Technician
• Desirable university student in Accounting, Administration, or related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience in administrative and accounting functions
• Registered as an Accountant in SAT
• Knowledge of accounting systems
• Basic knowledge of tax legislation and general accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and office tools
