Role DescriptionThis part-time Office Support role is an on-site position located in Agawam, MA. The individual in this role will handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to basic customer inquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate team members. Responsibilities include organizing and filing paperwork, processing orders, updating records, and maintaining accurate data entry in office systems. The role also involves operating common office equipment, preparing simple reports or documents, and supporting the team with clerical tasks that help ensure smooth daily operations.
The Office Support team member works closely with colleagues to keep the office organized, efficient, and responsive to customer needs.
- Strong Office Support and Administrative Assistance skills to manage daily tasks, organize information, and support team efficiency.
- Effective Phone Etiquette and communication skills to handle calls professionally and provide clear, courteous information.
- Solid Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, and document preparation, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to operate common Office Equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, and basic office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets).
- Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Agawam, MA, and collaborating with a small team in a distribution-focused business.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in an office, administrative, or customer service role is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn internal processes and systems related to packaging, safety, and maintenance supply distribution.
