Job Title
Jhpiego is seeking qualified candidates for the RISE project, supporting the provision of life-saving services in the areas of Global Health Security, Nutrition, and Maternal Health.

Jhpiego is looking for candidates to provide comprehensive and timely administrative support in the operational areas of procurement and logistics, ensuring the correct execution of processes, document control, attention to staff and suppliers, complying with Jhpiego's internal policies. Contribute to operational efficiency through the organization, follow-up, and coordination of administrative activities that facilitate decision-making and the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.
This position will be based in Guatemala City, Zone 9 office.
Procurement and logistics:
- Request and follow up on quotes.
- Preparation and control of purchase orders.
- Communication with suppliers and support in the administrative evaluation of the same.
- Control of invoices, requisitions, and related documentation for acquisitions.
- Registration and follow-up of orders until receipt.
- Taking of fixed asset inventory, preparation, and updating of responsibility cards.
Perform general administrative tasks, such as:
- Preparation of reports, databases, and control of physical and digital files.
- Attention and channeling of internal requests.
- Management of agendas, emails, and interdepartmental communication.
- Compliance with policies, procedures, and information confidentiality standards.
- Maintain effective and respectful communication with all team members, fostering a cordial and collaborative environment.
- Report any unforeseen events or risk situations within the project or that could affect it.
- Other duties assigned by the assigned Manager or Officer.
- University studies in administration, industrial psychology, or related fields.
- Previous experience in non-governmental organizations or development projects is a plus.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a procurement assistant.
- Computer skills, including demonstrated practical experience with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on certain tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with limited supervision.
- Availability to work in Guatemala office and availability to travel to field offices when required.
- Intermediate level English knowledge (desirable).
