Sarat Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our busy and growing service team.
This full-time position focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards before reaching the retail lot.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and evaluate incoming used vehicles for mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to dealership standards
  • Perform maintenance, reconditioning, and repair work efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards prior to retail sale
  • Document repairs and recommendations on repair orders
  • Communicate findings with Service Advisors and management
  • Perform road tests to verify repairs and vehicle performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow dealership reconditioning processes and timelines
  • Assist with additional service department work as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous automotive technician experience required
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to inspect, evaluate, and repair major vehicle systems
  • Ford and Lincoln experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Team-oriented attitude with a professional approach
