Sarat Ford Lincoln is looking for a motivated Lube Technician to join our busy, fast-paced service team. Our dealership features a climate-controlled shop and provides a great opportunity for someone looking to build their automotive career.

As a Lube Technician, you’ll perform essential preventative maintenance and inspections to help keep our customers’ vehicles safe and running properly. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow within a dealership environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance
  • Check transmission fluid and other fluid levels
  • Inspect belts, filters, tires, and other vehicle components
  • Check tire pressure and gauges
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues
  • Test vehicle systems and components to ensure they are operating properly
  • Perform basic repairs and replace worn or damaged parts as needed
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
  • Road test vehicles when necessary
  • Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of attention to detail
  • Follow all dealership and manufacturer service procedures and safety standards

What We're Looking For
  • Previous automotive or service department experience preferred
  • Ford certification is a plus
  • Previous Ford dealership experience is a plus
  • State Inspector certification is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of automobiles and vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to identify and address basic vehicle maintenance issues
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology
  • Strong reading, communication, and basic math skills
  • Ability to follow repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Positive, friendly attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/work on your feet for extended periods
