Permanent Substitute

To be a substitute in a classroom as either a teacher or a paraprofessional based on the assignment for the day. Assignments change daily per building principal and need of the building. Will be required to follow sub plans and daily routines of either the teacher or the paraprofessional that they are covering for on that particular day.

Benjamin Phelps is a neighborhood school for elementary students in grades K-4. The staff works cooperatively to recognize and teach to varied learning styles and to utilize all available resources to help each student meet their maximum potential.

• Experience in Elementary School preferred.
• Massachusetts licensure – 1-6 preferred, but not required.
• $135.00 a day
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
