As the Event Assistant, you’ll coordinate and execute all Group Sales, Marketing, and Sponsorship events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client experiences. You’ll be the vital link between clients, sales teams, and park departments, delivering unforgettable events. This role ensures top‑notch service for clients and partners, managing post‑contract reservations, onsite event logistics, and ensuring successful event execution.
PayStarting at $18.00/hour
Responsibilities- Lead day‑of event execution for corporate outings, youth programs, and other group events, managing support teams and addressing client needs
- Support on‑site sponsorship activations or marketing events, ensuring in‑park visibility aligns with national and regional agreements, and provide event documentation for recaps
- Communicate with park teams to ensure the successful execution of events
- Prepare and maintain a clean and safe event area
- Perform clerical functions and client communication, including email and phone call correspondence with groups of 100+ coming to the park
- Assist with fulfillment of general sales material requests, ordering tickets, invoicing, and ensuring receipt of payment
- Maintain accurate files and records for all clients
- Assist with group information and contact database input
- Anticipate and troubleshoot errors under the whole sales umbrella
- Assist in other areas of the Department
- Enforce all Six Flags New England policies
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New England
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
- Ability to pick up on and learn systems for the role
- Knowledge of working with Salesforce (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to deal with clients over the phone and through email in a professional and pleasant manner
- Excellent record‑keeping and organization
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, and working at heights
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
- 18 years old or older
