We are now here and launching a new business within the venture builder Skelar.

In the world, over 1.8 billion people study foreign languages, but less than 10% can speak them fluently. We are starting to build an environment of interactive communication – AI Language Tutor – to speak and make mistakes without fear of judgment.

Our goal is to build a product that will learn together with the user – collect data about them, personalize the approach, and motivate them to take new steps. We do not believe in universal approaches to learning, but we know that algorithms will help the user learn in his own way of learning. And (finally) effectively.

You will become the first designer in our team and take full responsibility for how our AI Tutor looks, feels, and works. At the 0 to 1 stage, you will personally lay the visual DNA of the product: from the first onboarding to the interface of the voice dialogue with the AI. We are looking for a strong product designer who thinks not in pixels but in hypotheses and conversions – and understands that design in an early startup is not about beauty, but about the speed of testing ideas and real impact on business metrics.

What you will need to do:

– Design from scratch: creating a complete user experience and visual identity of the mobile application – from onboarding to the core flow of communication with the AI tutor;

– Voice-first interface: designing an interface for real-time voice interaction with AI – become an AI avatar (idle / listening / thinking / speaking), visualize the voice, feedback on pronunciation, scaffolded responses;

– Design system: building a scalable design system from scratch that allows the team to grow quickly without losing quality;

– Onboarding & Monetization: designing flows that directly impact key metrics – activation, subscription conversion, retention;

– User Research: participation in customer development, testing prototypes with real users, iteration based on insights.

What we expect from you:

– Experience: 4-5 years of commercial product design experience (Senior level) in B2C products;

– Mobile-first expertise: strong portfolio of mobile applications (iOS/Android), understanding of native patterns and guidelines;

– Design systems: proven experience in building and maintaining a design system from scratch;

– Product mindset: you think in terms of metrics (CR, Retention, LTV), not just aesthetics. You understand how design impacts unit economics;

– Prototyping and animation: confident use of Figma, experience in working with motion design and microanimations (Rive, Lottie, After Effects or analogs);

– English language: B2+ level or higher;

– Startup mindset: you understand that the perfect layout that no one will see is worse than a working MVP that already benefits users today. Ready to take responsibility for the result and work in an uncertain environment.

It will be a big plus:

– Experience working with AI/LLM products (especially conversational AI, voice interfaces);

– Understanding the specifics of the EdTech niche, in particular language learning…
