Position OverviewOMG currently operates in two Divisions: OMG Roofing Products and Fasten Master®. OMG Roofing Products is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of value‑added components for the commercial roofing industry. The Fasten Master Division manufactures and markets innovative, premium‑quality wood‑to‑wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier. The Receiving Clerk supports the production team by facilitating the flow of incoming and outbound material and supplies.
This key position requires precision, focus, the ability to work as part of a team, and, most importantly, a strong commitment to safety. The Receiving Clerk must be a team player and committed to delivering only the best quality to our customers.
- Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
- Work with delivery drivers and receiving team to load or unload material as scheduled.
- Count, weigh, and accurately record all items.
- Identify, research, and report discrepancies.
- Efficiently move products to assigned locations using a fork truck, hand truck, or other designated equipment.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, including Kanban, performance tracking, and Kaizen activity.
- Maintain a neat and well‑organized work area.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
