The Opportunity

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a vital clinical team member, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working alongside medical providers, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment.

Your Impact
  • Patient Care & Triage – conduct comprehensive triage, take vital signs, document medical history, and perform observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs. Assist with patient exams, ensure readiness of equipment and documentation, and support providers during testing and procedures.
  • Clinical Procedures – perform diagnostic and testing procedures (vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, etc.), execute point‑of‑care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS‑CoV‑2, glucose, lipid panel, urinalysis), provide cardiac and airway management (ECG, AED, nebulizer, oxygen), deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per regulations.
  • Patient Engagement & Documentation – assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, explain medication or therapy plans, maintain accurate electronic medical records, document histories and treatment details, observe and report changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Clinic Operations – ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, maintained per policies; maintain a stocked sterile workspace to support smooth operations.
  • Collaboration with Clinical Team – work closely with other clinical team members to coordinate care, communicate effectively with providers, and support training of new team members.
Required Availability
  • Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts in consecutive or non‑consecutive days:
    • Full‑time: 3 12‑hour shifts per week; at least 4 shifts per month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Part‑time: 2 12‑hour shifts per week; at least 2 shifts per month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Per diem: 4 12‑hour shifts per month, ideally one shift each week.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work at a minimum of three (3) other Convenience MD locations within a one (1) hour travel distance from primary clinic.
  • Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one (1) hour commute.
Who You Are
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification &

    Experience:

    State‑licensed LPN with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified.
  • BLS certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required; CPR, ACLS, or online‑only classes not accepted.
  • Personal Attributes: Compassionate, authentic, patient‑focused; proactive and confident communicator; trustworthy and maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA; effective communicator and cross‑collaborator; excellent team player; technically savvy (Microsoft Office, Experity, other business systems).
Bonus Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department.
Pay Transparency

Hourly Pay Range: $29.43 - $43.78 USD.
