Retail Operations Team Member

• Ensure proper and efficient operation of the station during the shift within company policy
• Contribute to increased profitability and growth of the store
• Meet customer needs and deliver best-in-class service
• Communicate store-operation changes or issues to management promptly
• Prepare shift reports according to company guidelines
• Provide a positive customer experience and greet every customer warmly
• Suggest purchases and promote specials
• Execute the customer service program at the site level
• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers
• Enforce environmental and hazardous-material regulations
• Maintain store safety and security and document accidents or incidents
• Maintain the customer environment inside and around the store
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently
• Support the Safety and Health program
• Report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses
• Complete new-employee safety orientation procedures
• Perform general housekeeping and related duties

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed
• Must be able to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level
• Ability to validate identification before selling tobacco and/or alcohol as required by regulations
• Can lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk cartons, soft drinks, beer, and juice containers using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
• Ability to work in various temperature environments
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Prolonged periods of standing

Demonstrates strong customer service skills while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Capable of effectively managing store operations and contributing to profitability through positive customer interactions and adherence to company policies.
