Ride Mechanic

As a Full‑time Ride Mechanic at The Thrill Capital of New England you'll perform daily inspections of assigned rides and attractions, perform rehab work on theme park rides and attractions, and maintain, erect, repair, and troubleshoot various theme park rides and attractions.

Position is hourly, starting at $22.50/hour.

• Perform daily inspections of assigned rides and attractions to ensure the safe operation of all units
• Communicate with Maintenance and Operations Management on ride and attraction downtime
• Perform rehab work on theme park rides and attractions
• Maintain, erect, repair, and troubleshoot various theme park rides and attractions
• Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
• Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts using hand and/or power tools
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractions
• Track inspections and repairs in Maximo; keep accurate logs and records of routine and preventative maintenance work performed
• Comply with ride manufacturer guidelines and state regulations

• Experience as a mechanic
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• 18 years old or older with a valid driver's license
• Able to work at heights over 200 feet
• Able to lift 50 lbs. without difficulty
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, etc.
• Able to successfully complete pre‑employment background screening
