Backend Software Engineer L2

The Backend Software Engineer L2 is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of scalable, resilient, and sustainable backend software solutions.

Participates in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, contributing to the technical quality, stability, and growth of the company's platforms.

This role requires initiative, analytical thinking, responsibility, and the ability to work in distributed and agile environments, collaborating with multiple teams within the fintech Latina.

Design, develop, and implement scalable and high-quality backend solutions using Type Script.

Execute defined projects, defining appropriate solutions and implementing best practices.

Assume responsibility for technical deliverables and adherence to deadlines.

Participate in code reviews and promote the adoption of quality standards.

Develop and maintain robust and scalable APIs for internal or external consumption.

Integrate and optimize cloud services (preferably AWS) under serverless architectures.

Apply domain-driven design principles (DDD) in the modeling of business solutions.

Participate in the design and maintenance of distributed systems and event-driven architectures (EDA).

Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience:

More than 3 years in backend software development.

Technical knowledge:

- Mastery of Type Script and experience with REST API development.

- Knowledge of AWS and serverless tools (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cloud Watch).

- Familiarity with IaC frameworks like CDK or SAM.

- Solid practices in testing and automation (unit, integration).

- Understanding of distributed and event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, Kafka, Event Bridge).
