Century Group is working with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant who will be fully onsite in Ventura County. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $83,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Work closely with Sales, Operations and Client Success teams as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze and reconcile customer accounts
- Review the accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with managing and resolving billing and revenue operations
- Assist the GL team in creating and completing account reconciliations for the month end close
- Preparation of journal entries as part of the month-end close
- Assist with month end close, audit requests and ad hoc projects as needed
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's and Pivot tables)
- Experience with Net Suite and Salesforce desired
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
