The Albert & Mackenzie Medical Office Clerk position is a full-time role in Agoura Hills within a fast-paced department where deadlines and attention to detail are critical.
Duties And Responsibilities- Generating and printing reminder notices for upcoming medical appointments
- Follow special instructions and designated delivery methods
- Process outgoing mail through the postage system
- Send out reminder notices and ensure timely distribution
- Accurately enter billing information for completed tasks
- Data entry
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong reading comprehension and data entry skills with a focus on accuracy
- Basic understanding of workers compensation and medical terminology (preferred)
- Case Management Software and EAMS experience (a plus)
- Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and work on a computer
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment
- Must be able to observe details within two feet of the observer to read printed materials and computer screens
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas, and exchange accurate information in these situations
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access files or equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented and able to work well under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication, teamwork, and pride in work product are expected. This is a fast-paced position requiring a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy.
