OpportunityOverview
Our Digital Hardware Signal Delivery group is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join our design team in Agoura Hills, CA. In this role you will be responsible for designing and releasing Signal Delivery solutions consisting of complex cable assemblies, PCBs and interposers. You will integrate across all development functions (HW, Mechanical, Systems engineer, Circuit design, Signal Integrity, Project management, etc.)
to successfully bring up the new signal delivery product. This opportunity is for an early career professional, as such you will be teamed with and mentored by senior engineers as you grow your career and expertise.
- Digital signal delivery design consisting of custom connectors, cables, PC boards, and interposers from MHz range to high speed +224 Gbps
- Power delivery design that include low voltage (10 v), low current (2 A), massively parallel;
High voltage (600 V), High current (2,000 A); all with low inductance and low DC resistance - Developing requirements
- Design verification planning and execution
- Signal verification and characterization
- Vendor selection and management
- Signal integrity analysis and simulation
- Collaborating with team members
- Supporting Program Management and Engineering Leadership with summary work and technical reports

- BSEE or MSEE
- 1‑2 years of relevant experience designing digital transmission lines such as cables, connectors and interposers
- Understanding of electromagnetic wave theory, transmission line theory, impedance matching, differential signals, skin effect, dielectric loss, cross talk, eye diagrams
- Experience with signal and power integrity simulations tools:
Ansoft HFSS, Cadence, Power SI, MATLAB, Agilent ADS, or equivalent - Experience with: VNA, PNA, TDR, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Power Meters, 4‑wire meter
- Team oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Cadence HDL, Allegro preferred
- Experience using C/C++, Python preferred
- Experience with PCB fabrication preferred

CompensationThe base salary range for this role is $86,700‑$138,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive PlanThis job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
