Quality Data Assistant II Job Description
This position supports projects and activities related to quality assurance, quality control, quality improvement, and other responsibilities within the Quality Assurance department.
Responsibilities- Work with department supervisors to archive data binders and equipment records.
- Perform filing of various quality and training records.
- Assist Quality Assurance in compiling data for instrument correlation and carryover testing.
- Compile data and create graphs for monthly quality indicators.
- Perform data entry for rejected assays, continuing education units, and equipment tracking.
- Create Continuing Education Unit (CEU) certificates.
- Assist in running reports from the Master Control document control system and the nonconformance database.
- Keep the Quality Assurance Manager informed of any significant issues affecting overall laboratory quality.
- Comply with policies related to CLIA regulations, CAP accreditation, FDA compliance, and specific state regulations.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety requirements of various regulatory bodies.
- Follow other job‑related instructions and perform any other duties requested by department management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in quality assurance and data entry.
- Knowledge of GMP, CLIA, CAP, and FDA regulations.
- Experience with document control systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Esoterix system and other quality‑related applications.
The work environment involves working with various technologies and equipment related to quality assurance. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulations from bodies such as CLIA, CAP, and FDA.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Agoura Hills, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
